Another lovely illustrated map by Laura Hallett, created for the end pages of Iceland by Erika Owen, a new book published by Assouline Publishing. Laura has many years experience of illustrating beautiful maps like this for a wide variety of clients.

I really love this wonderfully atmospheric and gothic Beauty and the Beast artwork by Phil Gormley. Phil's inspiration came from the 1946 film, La Belle et la Bête and the 1978 Panna a Netvor (with a little of 1985's Legend thrown in for good measure).

Gorgeous work by Bernard Lee for Magic: The Gathering's Secret Lair Dandân deck, created as a 16" x 20" oil painting. Bernard was commissioned to recreate the art for an older, existing card and incorporated his own storytelling into this new illustration.
