Well said Ian, as a member for many decades, i concur with your thoughts, however I would still hate to see him leave to one of our big enemies, especially to the poos and wees!

Obviously Essendon has been in a rebuild over the last few years, you only have to look at the list changes. Note the team v Adelaide (who currently have a full list), was about 10-12 players different to many of the lineups in 2024. I have always thought we would finish bottom four in 2025!

Indeed Todd, it’s a long season and we all know (or should know) the Bombers are very young and inexperienced at the moment and hey there is always hope, the Hawks lost 6 out of 7 to start 2024 !

Thursday night games obviously don’t suit a lot of working families, as I am now retired it doesn’t really worry me, as long as the Bombers notch a win!
