Until recently, I was really into fashionable chords with elaborate reharmonics, but since I started showing up at various jazz sessions, my sense of values that I want to emphasize in my compositions have changed considerably.

I made a self-portrait to make a business card.
I thought it would be easy enough to extract a line drawing from a photo...,
But I found that I had to make a lot of modifications,
It took about 30 minutes per card.

I have a dream that one day I will hold a mandolin concert in the nation of America, where dreams and music unite us beyond our differences, celebrating the spirit and character of individuals rather than the divisions that separate us. I hold onto this dream today.

Are you familiar with the anhemitonic scale?
Proposed by Rokushiro Uehara, the yang and yin scales have a very Japanese nostalgic feel to them.

I love the Japanese spirit, and I'm trying to convey that more and more in my work.
Wa(和) in Japan means harmony, where many people set rules for each other and live happily without fighting.
