Corbyn is not an antisemite. Championing the Palestinian cause decades before everyone else opened him up to a hate campaign that has been going on ever since. He’s demonised at every turn. He genuinely believes in equality for all but even now the press twist’s & misrepresents everything he says.

You’ve hit the nail on the head. Prescott was firm in what he believed, what he strived for but he was also an incredibly intelligent & capable pragmatist. He understood that the quickest route was not always the most direct. It made him a towering figure in Labour & an outstanding politician.

Prescott was rough around the edges & always a bit of a renegade. He was also a pragmatist, took the role of a senior politician seriously & had a cracking sense of humour. Amongst his best attributes was he never lost sight of his roots, thrived on instinct & was a thoroughly decent good man.

It is not antisemitic to oppose Netanyahu & his murderous objectives. If it was, what do you say to the millions of Jews that also oppose it & him?
I also oppose the terrorists in Hamas & want them held to account. Violence & hate are not the way to gain peace.
