I'm a hippy storyteller who likes cats, costuming and politics. I've been blessed to lead an interesting life and you'd probably think all my stories were bullshit until you meet the people involved and they tell you I left out the craziest parts. 🤔
I'll stop calling them Nazis and fascists when they stop being Nazis and fascist. 🤷‍♀️

The entire world of professional sports is built on gambling. The broadcasts, affiliations, and merchandise combined doesn't bring in as much as the gambling does.

This was so obviously staged.

I'd be interested to see what percentage of them even graduated high school. 🤣

My neighbor who is in his late sixties is considering joining just to internally sabotage. 🤣 I get where he's coming from but I told him "you know if we ever have Nuremberg style trials your name will still be on that list." His response? I probably won't live that long anyway. 😬

So what's up with the woman who sang the national anthem in Spanish last week? She was told by an employee not to and she did it anyway. Then her manager was told she was banned from Dodgers stadium and then the organization came out and said she wasn't. Sounds like they have some rogue employees?

1. I didn't realize Geraldo was still alive and 2. I didn't realize he'd lost his mind

Are you talking about Musk, Reagan, or rump?

Did he forget some zeros? 250 million is a drop in the bucket. 🤣

I know this might be asking a lot but why the fuck can't he keep the dates straight? The country's founding was 1776, the bicentennial was celebrated in 1976 and the 250th anniversary will not be until next year.
Maybe he doesn't think he'll make it that long? 🙄

Hurricane season in the mostly red states is going to be interesting this year without the NOAA.
Especially when the states hit by the storms they weren't expecting find out they will be getting not one red cent from FEMA.

I've had similar ideas except simply pay for every man in America to have sperm deposits at a couple of locations across the country. Make *every* pregnancy a planned pregnancy. And of course give women the right to terminate it at any time that it threatens her health, life or well being.

"Men don't hit on me because I'm beautiful and it intimidates them." 🙄
No, men don't hit on you because you're ugly on the inside and it shows.

And yes, the reason QB has maintained a monopoly is because people are very reluctant to change accounting softwares.

TurboTax is also owned by Intuit. My point was they are all around a crappy company that benefit the consumer.
April 16, 2025 at 9:44 PM
The biggest ones I can think of are Xero, Sage and Wave. And don't get me wrong, some businesses do require software with capabilities like this. But a service only business with no employees almost definitely doesn't.

QuickBooks is owned by Intuit. And QuickBooks had a Monopoly on the market for decades. There are some other players coming out now, but they also have subscription models although they are priced a little better.

The problem is the next 17 people in the line of secession are all his stooges.

IMO, the only way back from this is to start fresh, hold new elections, and revise the Constitution. Clearly whatever checks and balances were put in place were not enough.
April 16, 2025 at 4:21 AM
As a bookkeeper, I fucking hate Intuit! When they switched to subscription only models, I moved as many of my clients as I could to other programs. Bookkeeping software is basically just a database. It should not require a $10 (and up) a month subscription.

I'm sorry but a constitutional crisis going on, the price of everyday goods skyrocketing, and the middle class losing hope is not the time to brag that you have a bunch of money to blow.
