These people talking about more paycheques have no idea how much O&G has consolidated and automated away because of those previously high wages. That or they’re just lying to land a cushy consulting job in political retirement. Scaling up production could be good for royalties but the 00s are gone.

Republicans and PCs might bring us back to the ”FPtP, but cool” times where the Wild Rose split the vote and Notley managed to win. I have less confidence in Nenshi but here’s hoping!

That fix would add leverage to the workers involved, and so of course company growth is limited in order to keep the power dynamic where it is.

imo it created an instant power vacuum and they all wanted to take that newly opened up territory. I think a lack of overhead party discipline in terms of picking a clear winner out of the rest of them is causing this jockeying to get drawn out. I hope it gets really ugly!

Anti-authoritarianism does kind of fundamentally clash with the idea that there's only one way of doing something artistically.

I think on a cynical level it's really just politics as performance, and that they wanna have the spectacle/show going on at all hours, and drive the clicks where they'll get paid to blog. If the online fights aren't happening then that's a threat to their paycheques.

These types of guys will say and do anything so long as they keep getting paid to write blog posts. Understandable I guess.

This is how all the people saying this is illegal look. Don't forget they're still spending your tax money to do this, and are spending your tax money to legally defend their actions. The law will not save you here, only collective action and political will.

Yeah my impression for all PI stuff is that you need it bc:
-You're about to divorce them and need evidence for legal reasons.
-You can't leave the relationship/marriage for some reason and need the evidence for non-legal reasons.
Either way the "relationship" as it was, is dead.
