I havn't seen the more well known film adaptation, but I think this original version might prove to be more powerful to me personally? Something about the simplistic faces and lack of the audio and movement a film has really hits different here

I really wasn't feeling this one at first tbh, but overtime it sank its hooks in me and gave me a really solid and disturbing experience. I think some stuff could have been refined or punched up, but the more I think about this movie and what it does, the more I like it.

Got to see this in Seattle and really liked it! I was already familiar with half of the songs but getting to see everything live was a great treat, my favorite one to see onstage was definitely Get Down.
