And how talent given from God can be mishandled. If you followed the theme of the Drake vs Kendrick beef he spoke a lot to Drake misusing his celebrity. Kind of like Kendrick confessed to on his second studio album “To Pimp A Butterfly”

The track being number 6 isn’t accidental as he says he is retelling the story of Lucifer. In some Christian mythology Lucifer is referred to as a musician, certain passages suggest his body had musical instruments embedded into its design. Kendrick is speaking about the power of music (cont)

Track 6 “Reincarnated” is one of the deepest songs Kendrick’s ever written. He starts by telling the story of two musicians that were extremely gifted people believe he is speaking of Jackie Wilson (a soul singer from Michigan) and Billie Holiday a legendary Jazz Singer.

Few things I noticed: the car he named this album after was released the same year he was born, he emphasizes the theme of rebirth and reincarnation on this album:m. I wonder if this is the new direction he plans to take musically, a more confrontational and relevant approach.
