AAAA so sorry, i fell asleep before answering 😭 but ye, if ur going for basic buttercream, keep your butter room temp for the most part!! you can also cut too thick frosting by folding in a bit of partially whipped heavy cream, but for the most part, the butter you use should be soft but not melty
