Cool that The New York Times is happy to whitewash and rehabilitate someone who killed a journalist--dare I say a colleague people at The Times probably knew and worked with. Beyond shameful.

I'm sure, if given more time, Biden's policies would've caught up to what people to needed, but on top of being too little too late, it always felt like his admin was mad that people weren't getting this.

I've been reading a lot about the first half of the 19th century. I spent a lot of time admiring Henry Clay, and in some ways, I still do, but it's hard to totally lionize someone who still compromised on slavery time and again to avoid an inevitable fight.
