I'd love to abstain but I'm currently communicating with a former colleague in Cambodia about our shared love for new airports (hers in Phnom Penh and mine in Pittsburgh). I left 15 years ago and I value these connections too much to let them go, despite all the other stuff. I still miss Twitter.

And thanks to Twitter in the early 2010s, I both learned and shared so much about my favorite topics. People respectfully shared a range of perspectives. I eventually met some people in real life who remain good friends to this day.

The thing is, I love that Pittsburgh pride. But I guess there are limits.
