Either way they should be able to cancel the first script and resend it correctly and do it that way. One being filled shouldn't stop a PA if they have plenty of evidence of you failing the generic

Oh then the doctor didn't write the script right. They can write as a DAW 1 or do not sub order and the pharmacy has to dispense name brand. If they just send it through written as name brand any system is going to substitute unless they do that. A lot of doctors seem to forget that's a thing

Ok as a pharm tech it's legit not the pharmacy. We send all the info the insurance needs to the doctors office and they contact insurance from there. We are deeply uninvolved in the PA process
