Organic shapes shading. Trying to be better about not just having the harshest terminator line. Side note, the paper works better when you draw larger things.

This paper does a fantastic job of hiding a lot of mistakes. So… maybe we need to get a glossier paper.

Use the .5 lead as a base and shaded with the 2.0… forgot to sharpen the 2.0 and now I have regrets.

Ok so that worked but it also kinda semi shades the image too.

More experimenting. Think I need to soften the core shadows by smudging them as the scratchy shading I normally do doesn’t translate the shape of the object well. Almost like using a soft brush.
