This is my friend Paul with an oil painting he did of my father. The inspiration for the painting was a photograph that was taken by my nephew during lockdown in Wales in April 2020 on my father’s birthday. He was 90.

This months reading. It’s interesting the journey books can take you on. Many writers (from the profoundly spiritual to the grossly materialistic) have been commenting on the challenges modern humans face since the 70’s but it’s only now that the veil has been lifted for all of us.
