An image from a place under threat. Wildfires ignited by dry lightning strikes ( an increasing phenomenon of climate change) are currently burning in this area, the Tarkine, in Tasmania’s NW. Not sure if this spot has gone at this point.

I made this image at dawn above Dove Lake during the autumn turning of the Fagus : our largest native deciduous tree, nothofagus gunii.
