We did Thanksgiving yesterday for family scheduling reasons and today I am thankful for my lunch made up of side dishes. Each one made by a different family member and all delicious.

The hounds are killing me with cuteness but also attitude. Penny took over the toddler chair years ago (the toddler is now a teenager) and Fergus started stealing it, making her sad. So I bought him his own chair and now they are crammed into one dog bed. Sure.

This little guy thinks that carrots are a rare and special treasure and I love that for him!

My kid came home today and informed me that he needs cookies and cups for a party in theater class tomorrow. Not quite as bad as the time I volunteered my pregnant mom to make two last minute bûche de Noel for French class, but tonight she gets the “child just like you” payback.

Fergus is proclaiming his availability for side quests. Penny is considering isn’t as sure…
