Maybe. But I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Bowie actually did write the songs specifically for the game, considering he was also releasing music on his website early on & founded his own ISP. 90s Bowie just seems like a guy that embraced new media/tech, you know?

Yeah, Omikron is a mess but it's a weird, ambitious mess. Still by far the most interesting David Cage game and it's highly unlikely that will ever change.

The DT one has a couple of obvious flaws: the light and shadows on the ground don't match the window at all, the door frames (especially the right one) are a mess, the bedframe melts into the background, the right radiator and the windowpane are messy. Sabaton: the sword hilt melts into the gloves.

Oooff... RNGesus fucked you good. I got lucky and managed to get back on my first try. But now that I'm poking and prodding at all the remaining mystery I'm also getting realy tired of random softlocks, rooms not showing up and having to run back and forth to that damn outside room every single run.

No, it's from Cortical Systematics. I finally pulled the trigger when Nintendo revealed the price of the Switch 2 and its games. The Micro-Pod is honestly a far better deal. Fits all bioports and even comes with XE-60 lube. Big N would probably make you pay another 10 bucks for that.

Yeah, that's usually the biggest hurdle that new players have to overcome. And unfortunately that's the case for all three original Stalker games, (early game) Clear Sky being the worst offender. I can understand giving up because of the gunplay. Especially if your not 100% into its atmosphere.
