For what holiday, @cnn.com?

So long, Congress, and thanks for all the smoked fish.

Wow, he’s not even giving folks time to finish their remodel.

I swear, only in America do we have to take Canadian chip flavors and make them macho.

Kinda shocked they had them in the vending machine. Can’t see our students falling all over themselves for all dressed chips.

Nice reference, @ubisoft.com

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage was just the mid-90s high school nostalgia that I needed, especially the music references. Looking forward to part 2 for sure.

That second paragraph is a choice.

I forgot this was still on Hulu. I know I should watch Unforgiven tonight if I want to watch one of Hackman’s best, but for some reason with the mood I’m in right now, this one just fits better.

The 90s were a hell of a decade.

Glad I was planning on reading today.

I forgot to attach the damn article.

Gutsy for Rubio to recognize that yes, we do have a Constitution.

Without downloading any new pictures, where are you at mentally?

Like, maybe when you guys do something other than put Chuck Schumer out there.

Can someone please explain to me why the only mainstream media outlet even *trying* to report accurately on what’s going on right now is the WSJ?

Their editorial board is awful as always but their reporting on Trump and Elon’s coup shit has been better than nearly everyone else’s.

If this seems extremely stupid and something close to a waste of money, that’s because it is. But much like they buy up the latest educational fads, schools are great at buying security theater useless tech. They were good at buying hygiene theater during covid, too.

No, it’s much more fun to be aware of everything that’s happening exactly *as* it is happening. The icing on the cake are all of the Democrat platitudes on social media. Nice play by the rules status quo.

This is so profoundly unserious.

A+ company for Vance right here.

Decided to unwind with a Jefferson Starship album and it just reminds me that it doesn’t matter what era this band is in, Grace Slick is a force of damn nature.

I distinctly remember the Boomers doing a God-awful job of recognizing anything about the impact of Kurt Cobain’s death.

I grabbed an old copy of Nirvana: The Chosen Rejects by Kurt St. Thomas at a record shop, and it’s been a great read. This paragraph made me chuckle because of the deep meaning of Hole, whereas “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was an accidental deodorant reference. Lot to unpack here.

This painting of Rudy looks like one of the Max Beckmann paintings at the St. Louis Art Museum.

Just unwindulaxing with some quality 1970s jams. Linda on now, Jackson Browne on tap. Everyone falls all over 70s hard rock and disco, both of which I love, but there’s something about a very specific softer sound from that decade that really hits.

My cat got three peel-n-eat jumbo shrimp, a can of food, and a Churu tonight. She sleeps next to my head. 🤔

I’m simple to shop for even though I hate getting stuff - Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, history books, and the Blues. Parents nailed it yesterday. I’m so thankful.
