I agree. The fandom definitely soured a lot of the experience for me. I also have mixed feelings about the ME team. I ultimately blame EA but it definitely puts me in awkward spot as I also love the ME franchise 😭

Absolutely! A franchise that has brought me so much joy with incredible characters. They will never make me hate Veilguard. There was also nothing surprising in that article but I still feel hurt how everyone behaved towards the game. I can’t imagine how devs feel.

I still enjoyed my time with Veilguard. I think once the hurt of what EA did to the DA team lessens a bit I will do my 4th playthrough

There was nothing surprising in that article. It was so obvious to me the poor decisions from EA led to a poor dev cycle and created all the issues ppl complained about. Like you said everyone put the blame solely on the devs without understanding the politics behind the scenes
