Graphic Designer in Las Vegas. Just another weird artsy nerdy lady. 35. This is just a place for me to vent and shitpost. Sorry!
Also a big Hybis fan

One of my more unhinged tattoo ideas is a composition of different cartoon characters in devil costumes

I was able to go to Knott's this past weekend and had a lot of fun! Disgusto the clown and I definitely had a moment, but I told him I've already dated too many clowns in my past 🥲

One more because I can't stop. And guess what? It's from 1999. And it's The Mummy. I don't think I need to explain further.

Shutter Island (2010) is a fantastically done psychological thriller detective noir set on a remote island asylum (!!!). Great performances, I still listen to the soundtrack.

Super Mario Bros (1993) -
Shut up this movie rocks. It's camp. I will tolerate no slander.

The Fall (2006) is my newest favorite movie as I saw it for the first time in January. It's extremely well done, amazing visuals, and is a testament to the power of stories and the beauty of human imagination (yes I cried).

Wow, 1999 was sure a great year, wasn't it? Dogma (1999) follows a woman struggling with her faith as she's tasked with finding God, who is missing, in order to prevent the end of the world. Some parts haven't aged well (poop demon) but I really enjoy this one.

I don't know how to articulate how much I love House on Haunted Hill (1999) in a sophisticated way. Parts haven't aged well but it launched my obsession with asylum-setting horror. And, Geoffrey Rush channeling Vincent Price!!!

The Darjeeling Limited (2007) is a beautiful film about the bonds of family and the journey of processing grief, which sometimes, is a literal journey.

Can you believe I didn't really like The Big Lebowski (1998) the first time I saw it? But then I watched it again. And again. Because.... Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place.

I really don't think I need to sell The Fifth Element (1997). Despite some valid criticisms it's a delicious sci-fi buffet of striking visuals, sets and memorable characters.

Drop Dead Gorgeous (1999) is my all time fave. It nails the mockumentary style and the vibes of small town Minnesota as the "filmmakers" follow a high school beauty pagent. Featuring an amazing cast that also includes a super young Amy Adams.
