The author's name is Ria Manglapus and she is still at the Post. When she wrote Animal Watch it was full of these delightful absurdities. It was my favorite section of the paper, and many other people local to DC.

It came. I've read it and very much enjoyed!!!! Really liked how it ended. Loved the grief allegory and the pervasive sense that the parent always had it together. I feel seen.

I loved the Handmaid's Tale ending with the conference proceeding! So cool. I read Freewater, Home going, James this year and at first I was like oh no another runaway enslaved tale, but then it went so many cool places!!!! I love the Daughters!
