I'm in the minority of Foghat fans who think "Stone Blue" (1978) is their best album. Tons of great tracks on all their albums, but also a few duds. "Stone Blue" just rocks from beginning to end. Such a pity that I never got to see them live. 😢

When I retired I donated my book collection to a university library and never regretted my decision. Today I updated my bibliographical software and was reminded that most of the entries are no longer in my possession.

Of the thousands of rock albums I've bought over the years, the only ones to which I return consistently are those by The Doors. Other artists of that era get fewer and fewer plays. Conversely, not a day goes by without at least 30 mins. of Bach, especially his music for the keyboard or solo violin.

Since signing up with BlueSky, I've spent several days trying to block the endless flood of cat and dog images that have nothing to do with the interests I've registered. I've managed to slow the flood but don't know how to block reposted pet images.

As I went from typewriter, to word processor, to personal computer, I became fixated on matching the quality of published material. I gave up the struggle and now I'm deliriously happy with Markdown. If I want control over how the material will look online, I code in HTML + CSS. Life's much simpler.
