Good on BC Ferries.

Canadians say they want free trade so we need to act like it -- buy the best ships at the best price even if they're not made here.

Other countries should do the same. We'll all be better off, as we've proved for decades with NAFTA.

All I would like to know is:

Exactly when I will die
Exactly when my wife will die
If I'll be laid off before age 55
If I will get an inheritance and when

Please let me know - many thanks!

Stelco already stopped selling into the US market.

You gotta assume Dofasco, Algoma and others are scrambling to find new markets for their steel while Alcoa, Allouette and Rio Tinto are looking abroad for their Aluminum.

It's going to hurt, and jobs will be lost. But the US is going to hurt too.
#Canada must urgently diversify its trade relationships. Reducing reliance on the U.S. and building stronger partnerships with more stable and trustworthy allies is not just smart policy—it’s essential for our long-term prosperity

Dragging the speaker to the chair.... not just escorting him.
A tradition in Parliament: escorting the newly elected Speaker of the House of Commons to the Speaker’s chair.

Congratulations, Francis Scarpaleggia. Canadians look forward to your leadership in the Chamber.

"No tax on tips" is bad policy, but even worse is "No tax on overtime" which I honestly can't believe it's being considered.

First time crossing to US in some time:

VERY strangely the customs officers were often looking in people's trunks DURING PRIMARY. This is highly unusual, Primary is intended to be fast and if you want a search you send people to Secondary.

STRANGER still: we were searched in the NEXUS lane!

Please enjoy these shelter pups reacting to getting a kiss. Some are bashful, some have butterflies, and all deserve approximately 10 million more. 14/10 for all

As no physical product comes through the ports anymore for movies, is he recommending a selective Digital Services Tax?

How in the world would this fall under any of his tariff powers?
Trump says movies produced outside the U.S. are a national security threat. So he’s imposing a 100% tariff on all movies that are “produced in foreign lands.”
