A little bit more work on my #Zertz #ML #boardgame visualization tools. I can now render an entire game, turn-by-turn from the SGF files on boardspace.net :)

Interesting...

First pass of #AI implementation for my #ML #Zertz #boardgame experiment. I've been working on the visualization of player 2 thinking.
Player 1 is Random.
Player 2 is MCTS.
If you look closely you can see the thinking visualization for player 2. It's especially noticeable on their first turn.

A little bit more #zertz #ml #boardgame fun. Mostly cosmetic, but it's fun to look at, if a little impractical.

So now I have five cats. Sigh. I'm gonna need a bigger house.

I already have four cats, so obviously I can't take in any more. Unfortunately, I'm a sucker, so this happened...
Meet Truffle. She's been to the vet, has a clean bill of health, and will be spayed in a couple of weeks. And I suck at not adopting cats. 2/2

Okay, I'm cherry-picking, and I've still got some bugs to fix, but this is promising... #zertz #ml #boardgame fun.

Fun with the #boardgame #zertz #ml project. This image shows the equivalent permutations (via reflection/rotation) of a specific board state. The more equivalent permutations, the more we can reduce the state space we have to search.

Managed to get some more time in on my #ML distraction project that I return to every six months or so - this is a board game called Zértz - one of the Gipf Project.

More fun tweaks on a side-#ML project I've been working on. I've added intention indicators. Green for placement, red for removal, blue for capture. (It's just random play right now, but I've been working on making sure the rules are enforced correctly. Not as easy as one would think.)

It's been a while, but I finally got some time to work on the fun bits of a side-#ML project I've been working on. I don't get to play with this very often, so it's a nice break.

This is particularly relevant, and probably more than you need/want to know.

Can't believe I forgot this gem. (3D Monster Maze).

Alone in the Dark, 1992 creeped me out; his part, the zombie dog part, and the ballroom part.

Honorable mention goes to Silent Hill 2.

Testing something useful for my sekrit project...

I did not.

I hope you're able to take advantage of the FAA delayed flight compensation rules?

No, Demon, this is not how pair programming works.

This is what I have to deal with.

Okay. I'll bite. The output is in the alt text. It reads like a dating profile.

There are plenty of legitimate reasons (e.g. IP theft) to criticize LLMs and the massive techbro hype around them without resorting to straw(berry)man arguments.

A fish can't swing from tree to tree either, but you don't see people criticizing the fish.

I just can't help tweaking things...

But I like this one better in terms of layout.
