The part of Rayforce where it reveals it has crazy scaling and rotation effects half way through the second stage after not showing its hand for 1.5 stages still looks incredible 30 years later. The music being timed with the sequence makes it even better.

Every now and then between dinosaurs there's something like this weird oil crow thing which inflates like a balloon and vomits poison and has a scorpion stinger which it uses to blast air into the ground and make explosions. They should do that more often
