I'm a maker: I cook, 3D print, sew, crochet, write…when I’m not distracted by all the amazing books to be read.
Made Taiwanese style popcorn chicken from a recipe I found at OneHappyBite.com. Delicious! Going to have to get some tapioca starch so I can try her danbing recipe. #whatsfordinner #homecooking

Ebook girl problems…when you’ve finished a book, see the sequel listed, and read the sample and read it and go to buy the rest of the book only to realize it’s in pre-order and not available for a month.

Sometimes you just need some book goblin stickers. Number 1 way to enter Bookhalla?

Read series still in progress to support the authors and allow them to keep writing awesome books. #BookSky #Bookhalla

The good news: Brigands and Breadknives, the third #LegendsAndLattes book is available for pre-order.

The bad news: it’s not out until November.

I have a feeling someone may need this today.

This is a time that will try all our souls. We must let our friends & family know we see them, we value them & we will stand up to protect everyone’s right to be themselves.

The Teller of Small Fortunes is such a sweet and cozy read. Just over halfway through and just want good things for Tao and the others.

Pythagoras likes David Attenborough nature documentaries almost as much as I do. Also, if you haven’t seen Green Planet, it might be my favorite. #cat #caturday #naturedocumentaries

He’s such a little lap #cat snuggling up in the evenings. Even if he only wants to be held when it’s his idea.

My heart is is heavy watching the news of the fires in my birth state, watching them spread across the cities I grew up in and periodically checking Facebook to see who has checked in and is safe.

I remember ash raining into the front yard more than once but none of them on this scale so quickly.

So hey, let’s start off 2025 maybe making somebody’s life better in a small tangible way. What is a small practical thing—object, lifehack, whatever—that solved a small annoyance for you?

For me, did you know you can buy clips with elastic specifically to hold the corner of your fitted sheet on?

2024 has been a year with a lot of surprises. A lot of work, a lot of reading, some #stitching, some YouTube videos, but struggled to find a good groove with #writing fiction. May the muses smile next year.
