Still haven’t checked that place out yet—mostly because I get nervous about going alone and feel awkward when I’m out of my depth.

1) Yes, that sounds so incredibly fun.
2) How I wish that was the mindset. Last time I went out to Orlando’s queer scene, I got the cold shoulder—I just wanted fun and maybe a make-out a little. If not for my friend wanting to check it out, I’d have gone to a normal bar instead.
