We had a similar tree (no cardboard) with our first cat, who just liked to be an ass and knock all the ornaments he could easily reach off... and then eat the ornament hangers!
This wouldn't work at all for our 3 9-mo-old kittens right now, they'd just launch into the middle of the tree.

I was struck by the idea that this is some magic pot of 12 billion dollars that's just hanging around not being spent. It's not. It's money that doesn't exist in the hands of people who are stuck in living situations they would much rather get out of, but can't afford.

My nausea problems with videogames is mostly just with new games / new game engines. Play a new game for a while, get queasy, stop playing. Then I am usually fine from the next time I play.

Yeah, UPS just appears to let their drivers hit the end of the day, mark everything left as "Delivery failed", and head home.

I feel like they should have had a plan to see what Larson did and do that. He was pitted so far around pit lane that Larson's stop was done before Denny got to his box. Or just plan on 2 tires from the beginning. Had the fastest car all day, noone's going to be behind you with 4.

They've always had this "If we're not a second clear of the field, we have an unfavorable BOP!" attitude. I think the years of their only competition being the ByKolles and Alpine convert got stuck in their heads...

McLaren being an also-ran in IndyCar that can't quite capture the top is enough for me to be ok with them beating Max, because beating Max is #1 importance in a secondary series (to me).

I can't even tell if it's a mistake in the beginning or that's just what they planned to do. Eddie switches to the verse riff and Dave doesn't start singing, so Eddie switches back to the end of the intro /chorus riff to lead into the verse again.

I dunno if that's better or worse than the guys I see standing there arms akimbo, both hands on hips while they go. At least phone guys have some aim...

So much of the reason that the Element / xB / even the Cube were considered "failures" was the misbegotten expectation that these would be "cool cars for young people", when what they all were was "perfect not-trucks for older people who have stuff." That all of them got killed is still a shame.

Even if you're not looking for candles, their product copy is the most fun and creative copy I've seen in a while. Do yourself a favor and go read it!
