I have a branch of the nodemcu-firmware that supports the esp32c5 (the one with 5.8GHz wifi support). Basic functionality works: github.com/nodemcu/node... #esp32 #espressif
DRAFT: Add support for the ESP32-C5 and move forward to IDF 5.4 (not final) by pjsg · Pull Request #3670 · nodemcu/nodemcu-firmware
This is just a tracking PR. The ESP32C5 branch builds in the CICD, but some of the other devices do not build as some of the modules don't build due to changes in the IDF.

Tracker -> smartphone wifi hotspot -> transmit to #NodeRed over LTE -> local websocket to #UnrealEngine5 -> your eyes
