Highland Getaway is a Luxury Farm Stay in the Huon Valley, Tasmania. Highland cattle are bred as brushable pets. A farm tour is included with a stay or you can book a farm tour to brush lots of Highland Cows and calves and feed some friendly alpacas.
Highland cattle are beautifully natured and love to be brushed. It’s their daily routine being brushed on a farm tour and being fed in the afternoons when I move their fence to give them more grass. It’s a fantastic experience getting up close to such beautiful animals.
