Alec Boden pictured wearing that magical shamrock strip.
Alec played 158 times during the 40s and 50s and was also a coach , trainer and scout.
He is credited with spotting Kenny Dalglish and alerted Celtic to his talents .

Joe McBride, the striker who missed out on Lisbon due to injury.
He scored 86 goals in 94 appearances, injury struck in December of 1966 , he had scored 33 goals by then , a tremendous achievement.
Had he stayed fit , who knows how that season may have finished.....

He won 6 league titles and 5 Scottish Cups.

The legendary Bertie Peacock in the Shamrock kit .
Bertie made 453 appearances for Celtic, scoring 50 goals.
He won a Scottish league title , 2 Scottish Cups , 2 league cups and the coronation cup
He captained Celtic in the 7-1 victory over Rangers in the 1957 league cup final.
