Chasing the elusive Aurora from Churchill to Southern Manitoba!
This kind of cold can kill you pretty quickly. We have been enjoying the warm fireplace during this cold, editing old photos!
This is not the coldest we have seen here, but it is a bone chilling cold.
-30°F, feels like -53°F for my American friends.

Support tickets are being entered into a draw for a photo from us! $10/ticket!
Also, it was -30°C on this night and I was holding the card with my bare hand, in crocs, sweats and a sweater. That was fun.

I created the Manitoba Aurora community in 2020 as well! Then ultimately moved back to Manitoba at the end of 2020.

I continued to take photos but the #aurora bug bit me on August 4, 2019. This Coronal Hole brought a G1 show during solar minimum. The colors blew me away and I vowed to never miss a show! That fall we got a few more shows.

I began my photography journey by taking these photos in 2017! My dad and I headed to Northern Manitoba to fish. I wanted to photograph the Aurora after seeing them the year before. This was my first attempt at Aurora shots on a Canon Powershot!
