Max Scherzer could pitch in the World Series with his 4th different team, and could win the World Series with his 3rd different team.

One of my most favorite lists—the 8 guys with 300 homers and 300 stolen bases.

Includes father and son Bonds, plus two underrated journeymen—Steve Finley and Reggie Sanders.

Jose Altuve and Jose Ramirez each have a good shot to join this group.

Shane Baz is the 5th Rays pitcher in history to allow 5 homers in a game, and his outing (3 IP, 18 batters faced) was the shortest of all.

Jakob Marsee could have a 5-hit game tonight, in his 14th career game. Here are the most recent players to have a 5-hit game within their first 14 career games.

Interesting to note that daily posts and likes on BlueSky have now fallen to half of their peaks around the 2024 election. It’s been an exponential decay.

1990 Donruss gets tons of hate, but this card is lovely. A great profile of McGee, showing his name and number, and the red border REALLY works.

Man look at Simmons and Kiermaier being WAY up on list of most fielding runs despite playing many fewer games than all the other guys.

Carlos Santana understandably does not seem thrilled by getting thrown out at third base with no outs.

Mike Schmidt's 4-homer game happened 49 years ago today. The Phillies won that game 18-16, and Schmidt homered off both Rick Reuschel and his brother Paul.

25 years ago today, Chuck Finley struck out 4 batters in a single inning for the THIRD time in his career. At the time, he was the only guy to do it even twice.

Since then, a few guys have done it twice: AJ Burnett, Tyler Glasnow, Zack Greinke, and Craig Kimbrel.
