Correct me if I'm wrong but on the issue of youth sports HRT guidelines wouldn't be followed. I know that once on HRT for a determined amount of time any competitive advantage is kind of equalized so I'm all for that but high school sports don't require anything like that unless I'm mistaken.

When I was a student and my teacher explained this to me I felt like some policy markers might be a good thing, health care, reproductive rights, taxes, where do those things fall on the spectrum to claim that parties are shifting, otherwise it felt like just words on a circle.

I love the growing talk of boycotts. I personally have dramatically cut back my spending, and make sure to avoid stores I feel enable Trump. It takes some sacrifice but we aren't getting out of this mess without some discomfort.

I wish people who want to be defeatists would start by defeating their own urge to spread their spirit of surrender. It's not helpful and it's not an accurate assessment of the present or the possibilities. Yes, we're in a hideous crisis. Yes, there's lots to do and lots of people trying to do it.

I usually rewatch tng for comfort and ds9 for motivation to get through rough days.
