With Lee's loss in Gettysburg the day before, the war's tide had turned, though it took another 23 months, hundreds of thousands of lives, and several razed American cities to see the best Confederate flag.

Reagan, 84: "My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you today that I’ve signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in five minutes.” He was joking before a speech and people there laughed, but a hot mic got it, and it caused a kerfuffle. www.history.com/this-day-in-...

You might take a punch or two. I've been gripped up, pushed, insulted, threatened, and transferred. All of them eventually sulked off, but I'm still here, and so are you. Now, let's go TACO! 2/2

I have people in WV (grew up there) and the magats are still, "oh the alternative would have been worse," or when you point this out, "you're full of hate," "you have TDS." "And what about Biden giving money to illegals while vets were homeless?" Some will go to the grave in their alt universe.

One of my favorite places! Lots of beautiful spots to shoot, including smaller falls, around there.

That, to me, is one of the scariest parts. It's easy to level the accusation of sadism, but golly, they do seem to delight in the misery of whom they call an enemy. Scarier still is how many people who are not sadists will support it because they believe, wrongly, that it somehow benefits them.

A T-shirt of mine I bought on Etsy. As you may know, Brown had few fans at the time. At a secret mtg, F. Douglas told him the raid was nuts. Yet w/in 18 months, an abolitionist was president and hundreds of thousands of volunteers took up arms for the Union. Here's to moving the Overton Window.

I said to someone earlier, if it talks like a N*zi and salutes like a N*zi, then I'm calling it a N*zi. Another creator called him Edolf Muskler.

I know... Plenty to dislike in the bill that passed, but that a super majority voted for it with the amendment (before it was canceled out) is sick. Even local magats were against it (I have people still there).
