That’s the very definition of earning it. I, on the other hand, treated myself to a croissant and autumn spiced latte because I had to clean up other people’s messes. Oh- earned that too!

As a woman, I can’t imagine ceding that much control. We have always split those bills- so some are in my name and some are in his.

Military ID works too. Also, REAL ID/passport/military ID is required for entrance into some federal buildings.

It’s so hard to break the “rule” that every book must be read from cover to cover. I go 75 pages in- if I don’t like it- for whatever reason- the book is closed and passed on.

A few years ago, my primary school posse (friends since 5th grade, grew apart after college) got together for our 50th birthdays. Last one night after wine and good food, we learned that all of us had been abused as young girls. We didn’t tell each other and we really didn’t tell anyone else.
