Really cool! It lived up to my expectations and was a fascinating place to be for a few months (even if particle/theoretical physicists can be a bit out there sometimes. That was part of the fun tbh)

I don’t teach; I have an MSc in science communication and work mostly for intergovernmental science organisations in Europe (but not CERN anymore. I was only there for four months)

Yeah, just because something is true doesn’t make it intuitive or easy to understand, in this case precisely because things at that scale work so differently from at our macro scale.

(As context, at the time we were specifically talking about teaching students to read Feynman diagrams)
