I mainly join social media platfoms because Arsenal. Although they are not here.
This Arsenal team is going to make Arteta retire early and give me a heart attack. There is no personality or savvy to calm down the game and change gear. We play to the tempo of the game. Team really misses Big Gabby's confidence and presence.

It seems of the times that the Christmas tree lighting in Redwood City was at the corner between a fancy weed store and a shuttered fancy Starbucks.

The one positive about first half is Arsenal fans can't blame Odegaard for that lethargic display. With MLS in, would bring him in for Zubimendi. And Noni or Jesus sooner than later

I don't like the Basque Manager derby as much as the North London Derby. This was the only match so far I was expecting to drop points ahead of the match.

The Arsenal is technically in an injury crisis. Except it doesn't feel like that because we are top of the leagues.

Eze like Sunday morning. I was expecting a Nketiah equalizer the last 20 because of my Arsenal anxiety. Now Bournemouth is 2nd and I'm reminded Arteta's true kryptonite is a Basque coach.

Arsenal MVPs so far
1. Marinakis
2. Berta
3. Jover

I'm sure no one will mention Maresca's sprint. Except Arsenal fans pointing out the hypocrisy.

Zubimendi is probably the most important player on the team because there is no cover for how he plays the 6.

The whole United game will age well has not in fact aged well.

People snicker at Arteta's actions about culture. He has refreshed the club culture and created a new one for the team. I recognize it in my experiences. They don't always work but we're not the audience. But the re-signings of players from different backgrounds say it works where it matters.
Kind of crazy that so much of the early Saliba discourse was around how the treatment he received with all the loans would cut his Arsenal career short.

5 years in he's turning down Madrid to stay with the project. An immense signing. Arsenal are so good with contracts these days

So Mosquera is both the Saliba and Gabriel regen

I'm one of the Arsenal fans that doesn't have to apologize to Martinelli. Whatever was happening. He was always running. Running back. Late in games. One solace was seeing him getting recognition again.

Some of the Ruben Amorim press conference quotes have been absolute bangers

Mikel Arteta should get a second dog

The Arsenal women scoring a lot definitely provides a higher margin of error. And less nervous viewing.

Areta waited too long to make changes. Calafiori has been too much chaos at the wrong time. Needed to calm the game down. Eze provided that calmnes

The Premier League did the hard work in finding managers for Spurs and Man United. Thomas Frank and Adoni Iraola would succeed at any club not named Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

So that Man Utd win will take a little longer to age well

Watching City Spurs highlights on Caltrain. Some dude walked by and gave thumbs up. Not sure it was because of City loss or Spurs win. I'm wearing the Islington shirt underneath my non-Arsenal jacket. Reminder to get one.

If Arsenal goes for Morgan Rogers after Eze, then they should go in for Mitoma. They would have all the ballers. Areta is tired of people saying he's more Moyes than a Pep. Bring back Wengerball.

I am reminded again how much love and hate watching Arsenal at the same time. Also how much I despise midfielders named Bruno.
August 17, 2025 at 7:21 PM
Arsenal needs to get Eze. He's the most Arsenal player in the league of the 2007-08 vintage. And we are going to lose the league because of an Eze brace in a loss to Spurs otherwise.

Been busy to watch but this Premier League is pretty crap so far. Until Xhaka and Sunderland won.

Diego Luna is one reason why I have not fully given up on Star Wars and the USMNT.
