Seems like Atari is more willing to releasing their titles on the Switch 2, full games on the cart. Just like they did with Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection.

It was the final reveal at TGA last month. People dunked on the game expecting it to fail because it's a hero shooter in an oversaturated market.

Game just dropped with review bombs, though the game did have a high player base. Time will tell if they can retain those players in the long run.

I did play the demo on PS5 (and yes, I went to this area in-game and looks exactly like the screenshot you've shown). The weirdest part is that there is a Substory in this area and this lighting issue doesn't exist during the substory's cutscene.

Weird that they never caught this inconsistency.

From what I looked up, apparently, previous games had this issue too, where when you're in a shaded environment, the colors would end up becoming oversaturated. I heard the last game, Pirate Yakuza also had this issue.

That's surprising. Yet, it makes sense, considering Atari has been publishing their games lately. Specifically their compilations, such as Atari 50 and Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection.

Switch 2 Edition that includes an additional world that has levels that focus more on Multiplayer. Considering the game was originally $60, I imagine the update pack to the Switch 2 version will be $20 individually.

Of course, this also means this will be sold in place of the Switch 1 release.

I remember seeing the trailer for the 1st game, Breakin' Da Rules in Spongebob: Battle for Bikini Bottom. That and Shadow Showdown always looked like they could be very fun games. Especially with how the games did a good job maintaining the look of the show.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves (2004)
PS2 (Played the PS5 port)

A fun follow-up to the 1st game with more open hub worlds, enhanced stealth, a solid mission structure, and being able to play as Bentley & Murray, and new abilities for the Cooper Gang.

2 things.
1: That's a very unique interpretation of zombies that makes the game standout.
2: D3 Publisher. That's a name I have not heard of for decades. I only know them as the publisher behind the video game adaptation of Aardman's Flushed Away.

Astro's Playroom (2020)
PS5

A fun 3D Platformer that does a good job showcasing what the PS5 console and the DualSense Controller is capable of. As well as paying tribute to PlayStation's history with the many artifacts and references to 1st & 3rd party games associated with PlayStation.

Dispatch (2025)
PS5

A return to a familiar format of choice-based narratives, mixed with the dispatching gameplay having a lot of strategy to choosing who to send off, and a pretty strong storyline with great characters and strong voicework.

What Comes After (2020)
PS5

I found the story of this game to really resonate with me, especially when it comes to self-doubt. I'd say it's worth experiencing the game for the story. Just know that it's not a very long game. Took an hour or two to finish, you can get all the trophies easily on PS5.

Also Luigi's Mansion. I remember one of the rooms near the end of the game, there's a key needed to progress, and there's a hidden Boo in the same room. And if the key is out and you chase the Boo outside of the room and come back, it de-spawns the key and you can't progress at all.

challenge missions, the story-progressing challenge mission will never pop up. Even if you do play the missions after it happens, it never comes up, & you get soft-locked.

Found that out from the numerous times I've replayed the game's Challenge Mode. 2/2
January 13, 2026 at 2:48 PM
One example of a softlock I can remember is with Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal. After seeing the Courtney Gears music video, you have to do a specific challenge mission at Annihilation Nation to progress the story.

But I discovered that if you never bothered doing any of A.N.'s optional 1/2

From what I recall, it's a reoccurring thing for Yakuza to have DLC that includes characters that don't canonically appear in the story. Such examples include Saejima & Akiyama in Kiwami 2's Clan Creator Mode. And Kiryu & Sagawa in Pirate Yakuza as a Crewmate & Supporter respectively.

It really feels like they're going 'Scorched Earth' on WB for constantly rejecting their acquisition offers.
January 9, 2026 at 6:52 PM
To me, I've always enjoyed listening to the music people created with Miku's Vocaloid software, as well as how many of those musicians choose to make their own interpretations of the character through said music.

My guess is either Secret Agent Clank or Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier.
