I thought we had the right one till about 6 years ago. Couldn't convince him to stay, though, when we sacked him.

"I love a character who has the opportunity to be better and yet consistently disappoints."

You're gonna love Spurs.

Feels like Udogie is a greater attacking threat than Spence? (Although Spence is a real attacking threat on the right.)

Vicario, Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie, Bentancur, Kudus, Kulusevski, Maddison, Odobert, Solanke, with Kudus & Kulusevski alternating between central midfield and right wing.

Against strong opposition, replace Odobert with Palhinha with Udogie driving forward more.

The game is about glory…no, wait! It's about defense & set pieces.

Yes, personnel is key—and personnel decisions aren't made by Frank. He's among the personnel, and he can only manage the players available to him. Our midfielders don't pass.

Wolves didn't try to park the bus, but defended well. Tchatchoua looks very strong defensively.

Concur. Ange can't directly succeed Nunu—a Conte interregnum must be observed.

We were hopeless when Levy took over.
He isn't perfect, but he's built Spurs into a world-class club.

Relentless negativity can wear you down.

But it's part of Spurs' fan culture so I'm not ready to block people for their pessimism. I'm sorry it's reached that point for you.

Dems can't organize because the party doesn't have an agenda—unless "oppose GOP" is considered an agenda.

No central principle around which to rally.

Ad hominem judgment is rightly regarded as an informal fallacy that diverts us from the merits of a dispute to the (irrelevant) merits of a participant in it. But who among us does not save time and effort by denouncing bad faith public figures on whom we gave up years ago?

Yes, this. It's the economy, stupid.

The club with the best squad wins trophies. A club with a weaker squad blames the manager.
I blame the manager.

This was always a (long overdue) rebuilding process. Last year's fast start was misleading.

We haven't had a competitive squad. Assuming Ange is at fault for that, and assuming he's had adequate time & resources to assemble a better squad, he should be sacked.
March 11, 2025 at 12:54 AM
Perhaps Ange's decisions—and the team's performances—haven't been affected by the injuries.

2008-2012 isn't nostalgia. It's the day before yesterday.
