This is arguably equal to black lotus in that it can also get you three mana on turn one. Yes, the color is more limited, but it also has the Mox option.

No, because ninjutsu puts it into play already attacking.

I briefly forgot it would trigger for your opponent's creatures too.

That is like, Maxx-C levels of card draw.

Can either be a bear or a 2 mana 1/1 flier, *and* either way it can later turn into a copy of a Wizard... it's weak, but not awful.
October 30, 2025 at 11:12 PM
It's... very narrow.

As written they need to activate an effect that specifically tells them "reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature card".

If they activate such an effect, you get to steal the creature.

As worded I believe this would mean you need to sacrifice a creature or a suspected creature (which is redundant, of course). It would have to say something like "sacrifice a creature or suspect a creature" otherwise.

Padme: "With base toughness 1, right?"
Anakin:
Padme: "Right?"

I would probably go with "spells you control can't target opponents" instead to be less crippling.
August 13, 2025 at 5:15 PM
Aftermath on a creature is kind of an interesting design space, NGL.
August 13, 2025 at 5:12 PM
Convenient that it's a "you may" so it doesn't draw the game.

I can hear Maldhound crying from all the way over in the alternate timeline where this printed.
August 4, 2025 at 10:42 PM
Huh. I think this is just a real card. Deathtouch doesn't matter much on a 4/4, and we are well past the point where a 4/4 for three mana (in two colors, one of which is green) is problematic.
August 4, 2025 at 10:38 PM
Technically also creates an opening to cast Panglacial Worm. :P
August 4, 2025 at 10:32 PM
I'd go with "choose a keyword at least one creature you control has; until this leaves play, creatures you control lose that keyword."
August 4, 2025 at 10:30 PM
Academy Manufactor, also. Gain treasure, clues, AND food for each attack!
August 4, 2025 at 10:29 PM
This looks like it could be a real card except for the tiny issue that it's *miserably oppressive*, lol.
August 4, 2025 at 10:00 PM
I don't hate the design space of "spells with critical hit effects", though.

Although I imagine it would result in a lot of salt whenever someone lost to one.
July 22, 2025 at 4:19 PM
Way too strong since it's not green.

It would be fine (maybe a little weak?) if it was green, ofc.
July 22, 2025 at 4:13 PM
Honestly I'm just impressed that the phrasing works correctly with Overload.
July 16, 2025 at 11:16 PM
And it's not green, so it's not allowed to be.
July 16, 2025 at 11:12 PM
Technically it lets you draw as many cards as you want in one go, since you can keep responding to the ability by activating the ability again.
July 16, 2025 at 11:09 PM
To be fair you have to do all the card draw in one go, since it will destroy itself.
July 16, 2025 at 11:09 PM
Why wait until their draw step?
July 8, 2025 at 6:31 PM
To be fair any deck that runs this is going to be aiming to turn the last ability into an upside if not a wincon.
July 8, 2025 at 6:30 PM
Effectively this card has two modes - cheap miracle, or storm wincon. Actually a cool design space.

Unfortunately this card is absolutely broken, honestly; storm would run 4 of these just hoping to get the miracle and then storm off that turn.
