Whether he's for the deal or against it, he should at least explain his position to Georgia voters if he's going to ask us to vote for him in a year.

What message? He voted no, but was that because he was opposed to the deal or just so he wouldn't have to take an unpopular vote when they already had enough? As far as I can tell, Ossoff has not put out any statement explaining his position & his office will only confirm that he voted no.

If he ends up being the nominee, it's good this is being discussed now so that it's "old news" for the general.
If this ends up being a deal breaker for voters, it's good it's being discussed now so dems don't field a weak candidate in the general.

This type of vetting is the *point* of a primary.

I do think that if they allow hybrid cards as an "or" they need to bring back the rule that you can't produce mana outside of your commander's color identity. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing that come back even if they don't change the hybrid rules.

I think it'd be fine if they also brought back the "you can only make colored mana of your commander's color identity" rule. Beseech the Queen should be 6 mana if you allow it in a non-black deck, not 3 just because there's an Urborg or a Chromatic Lantern around.
