Genealogy keeps me sane. Lucky to be working in a genealogy library. Still trying to get past my GGGrandfather after 30 years of searching. Researching Kentucky, Connecticut, Ireland, Germany, Spain and Cuba. Wish I qualified for dual citizenship.
Our library just received this book. It lists the addresses that have extant books and gives the book number. No address means the book has been lost. It's available from Heritage Books.

Here's a guide to the NYC 1890 census that lists the extant books numbers by address. It's $35 at Heritage Books. Our library just received a copy of it and it's great. If the address you're looking for isn't listed, the book is lost. (I haven't had my coffee so I hope this isn't too garbled.)
