[JET SET RADIO (2000)- FINAL GROOVE]
In the distance, a man in a tuxedo with a scarf is DJing in a booth that is lit by 3 rectangular lights and decorated with an unreasonable amount of CRTs and ornate rhino imagery. The booth is connected to two smaller booths that both have a dancer with a rhino mask on, although only one is actually visible. In the distance, gigantic speakers both with the same logo painted on loom over the scene, with a city also in the distance. A golden rhino mascot also looms in the sky but looks to be twisted like a demon with a spectral figure appearing to crawl out of it's torso. It also has, you guessed it, a rhino head. To the right of the scene, a man holding a boombox and a spray-can wearing inline skates is preparing to try and stop whatever is happening from becoming any more of an issue. The entire scene appears distorted as the perspective twists and the sky becomes unnatural looking.

Marble Zone in sonic CD, a hypothetical scenario that was bouncing in my head for a few months but only recently got around to.
Here's the 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 and the 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 versions so far, both future variants are gonna be posted a little later.
A pixel-art scene of a ruined temple at night. The site appears to have been here for a long time, as indicated by the rampant foliage and decaying structures. On the lower left of the photo is lava underneath the surface, hinting at volcanic activity in the region, which is supported by the multiple mountains in the distance, which aside from the expanse of trees, is the only other thing of note in the background. This is what the location looks like in the present. A pixel-art piece that displays a gold-peach sunset over a temple reminiscent of Ancient Grecian architecture. In the foreground are towering bronze structures, complimented by the purple bricks around the piece. The grass is orange, as it's likely autumn at this time period. In the bottom left is lava, probably from a volcano, which is supported by the other mountains in the background. Also in the background are signs of ancient civilization, due to the structures in the distance. This is what the location looked like in the past.

Thought process with this one was:
"What if Sonic 1 had art similar to the one for Sonic CD where Robotnik's holding little planet's chains alongside other main themes of the game, y'know the one"

In short: Sonic the Hedgehog 1 on the Sega CD (1991)!
Sonic the hedgehog prepares to run surrounded by rings, a checkpoint post, and two palm-trees as he looks up determined and a bit smug. The environment in the background gradually appears to become more industrial the further it goes, with the closest things being dense foliage and some mountains, followed by a city, with an ominous factory at the top. From the smokestacks, a plume of smoke in the shape of Dr. Robotnik / Eggman can be seen, looming over the entire piece.

[JEVIL - DELTARUNE]
A dark carousel spins while projectiles in the shape of diamonds, clubs, hearts and spades bombard a bright red [heart-shaped-object]. Illuminated by the [heart-shaped-object] is the individual attacking it; JEVIL, of whom is reveling in the revolving battle.

(One of) Dr. Eggman's oil refineries are placed in a harsh desert. The suffocating pollution and extreme heat means that nothing living survives in this location.
Except the sand-worms.
Please watch out for the sand-worms.

[OIL DESERT ZONE - SONIC 4 EPISODE 2]
An angry giant mechanical sand-worm emerges from the sand. Sonic the Hedgehog smugly dodges it, welcoming the challenge. Tails the Fox meanwhile is (reasonably) startled. The scene is set in a grimy oil drilling site during a sandstorm with the sun just barely peeking through the clouds.
