And what are ways that can be implemented?

Yeah, I think there are a new generation of entrepreneurs who would love to break up that oligopoly and investors to back it. If they get regulators behind it too, we might see it happen.

How can an outsider be sure to know the real amount of rubles in the system? Wouldn’t it be possible for the russian CB to just print new money and provide the state without making it official?

It’s not concessions if you’re not giving up anything that you rather not give up.

Sweden is 100 % behind Ukraine. Parties from left to right all talk about increasing support. The cost of replacing US support is relatively small. If we help Ukraine hold the line for another 1-2 yrs, then Russias economy will collapse and we won’t have to worry about them for the coming 10-20.

Well, that statement assumes he's negotiating with a fair and just end goal in mind from the perspective of Ukraine and Europe. If you assume he's compromised by Russia, or for some other reason has their best in mind, then the picture completely changes.

I assume that Starlink doesn’t work in Kursk, but UA seems to be managing ok there anyway.

Who is holding us back Jessica? Is it Macron, Scholtz, Orban, Belgium, Italy? What are the counter arguments of those resisting decisive action?

Give them JAS Gripen. The best value for money.

Hi Tim! Do you have any clue as to how UA knocks out so many artillery pieces as they claim, and how they know? Drone strikes and surveillance of course, but aren't artillery often farther away from the front that their reach? Is it good counter battery, just guesses or fabrications?

Could change Russia to Trump in that quote and it would be equally correct.

It’s really a shame. Austria is a fantastic country in many other ways.
February 18, 2025 at 12:18 AM
Apart from Hungary and Slovakia, I’ll put my money on Austria. They seem to have a love for dictators in their blood don’t they?

Very interesting, thanks!

What about stabbed Ukraine and Europe in the back?

What a loser.

Interesting. The famous horseshoe where the extreme ends comes close on some views. It always makes me a bit sad to be reminded that Russia has this hold on the collective Italian mind. Thx.

Looks like an evil dwarf from a David Lynch movie.
February 12, 2025 at 12:24 AM
Why are so many Italians pro Russia? I can't get my head around that. I love Italy and I'm there at least once a year, it's just hard for me to imagine that a lot of the people I interact with might be pro Russia. Is it corruption, the fascist heritage, or something else?
February 12, 2025 at 12:11 AM
There’s no other event that has been covered as much by the media and talked about by politicians since Russias attack on Ukraine.
