For the latest issue of @radical-philosophy.bsky.social Victoria Browne, Rahul Rao and I interviewed Sophie Lewis about their new book Enemy Feminisms and they gave some very interesting and thoughtful answers to our questions

“The present condition of the world, if accepted as it is, if approached with anything short of determined impatience to change it utterly, renders every value meaningless” - John Berger

I’m so obsessed with this book 🔥

re-listening to this radio show we made ten years ago - it's about Asja Lacis, Walter Benjamin in Moscow, theatre, puppets, toys, dreams, guillotines, revolutionary childhood etc etc - still one of the favourite things I've ever been involved in making

so obsessed with this fact about the Lucio Fulci film A Lizard in a Woman’s Skin because if you've seen the film it is so very obviously not real dogs
December 6, 2024 at 3:08 PM
not Argento but maybe one of the most fun we've seen so far is Lucio Fulci's A Lizard in a Woman's Skin - set in London it features a creepy psychoanalyst, dreams, hippies on acid, lots of bats in the Alexander Palace, some kind of dog vivisection in a psychiatric hospital etc
December 6, 2024 at 3:02 PM
I've been watching some giallo films recently with a friend - mostly Dario Argento-& they've all just blurred into a single totally non-sensical film in my mind featuring the most visually stunning rooms you've ever seen in which the twist is that a WOMAN in leather gloves is actually the murderer
