Why do you think he's so quick to describe himself as lovable furry old Grover. He's internalized the message that monsters are bad and he doesn't want to be seen as one of them. Owning that he is a monster is a big step forward for him.

It is the heartwarming story of a monster with severe anxiety and dysphoria who nonetheless manages to stand his ground and come out stronger in the end. Calling monster tales horror is what got Grover in this headspace in the first place. Apologize right now!

Owning is one thing, finding is quite another. We need someone to get the rights to all these 1-2 season dead too soon tv shows and start a streaming service.

I'm pretty sure there was a DVD release of Popular at some point.

Also, now I'm wondering how the 9-1-1 franchise fits into this arc or whether it's too much of a co-production and his influence is limited. It's fallen into other traps, but rarely this one.

I feel like the season was skewed toward easy-mode TAR, not the challenges, but a season long "this is what TAR is, this what it has in common with BB, this is what makes it different" ad for people who hadn't watched before. Too many drama twists & bad leg design, so the order is never shaken up.

Vote early, vote often!

But will you still be friends with me if I didn't vote for Mamdani?

I did vote to reelect our democratic mayor who was running unopposed and therefore much less exciting. :/ However, as your neighbor, I appreciate NYC making the right choice tonight.

I could probably get away with it as a librarian, but I feel like publishing might be more professional? IDK

Muscle relaxants put me to sleep (as do daytime cold medicines, most otc allergy meds, and sometimes caffeine). So it may be a case of "do not operate heavy machinery like cars, computers, or exacto knives"

Spoiler: most of them survived.

I am now picturing Jeff waiting for Godot so he can start the challenge.

This is why my box where the scissors live is marked "sharp things".
That way, I'm not disappointed, if I've taken one of the sharp things out and it's elsewhere because there are still other sharp things in the box. Even if the sharp thing I need isn't in there.

I am still trying to wrap my head around this, but I will try to fix it.

I did not know that, and it explains so much about so many things. And fits so perfectly with what I'd already picked up about her.

That being said, I enjoy watching teams who come from alliance-centric games play TAR because that mentality can trip them up in interesting ways.
October 2, 2025 at 4:51 PM
It's so interesting seeing your threads, because TAR is my obsession and I haven't seen all the BB seasons so I only have opinions on some of the teams. It's also fascinating to me when people try to make TAR a strategic alliance centered game, because it's not designed for long term alliances.
