Buy yourself the flowers, check out more books than you have time to read, take long walks, cook good food, and when on your walk you’re confronted with the fact that you now qualify to live in “senior housing” say “the fuck I will!” loudly enough for someone on the street to hear you. Peace out.

Feeling nostalgic for days before invasive technology when we couldn’t work or go to school from home - a snow day was actually a snow day. When it was easier to feel hopeful and feel like making a difference was more possible. Not giving up but maybe taking today to watch the snow fall. Peace out.

My cancer antigen marker is exactly where it needs to be and all other labs are normal. I was scared this time but as this piece of art by Martha Usem reminded me, “Your worries vanish if you face them bravely.” I know a lot of things are shit right now but today is still a good day. 👊🏼🙏🏻❤️
