I had a friend who was an hour late to my house every time she would come over for 10 years because her mom would get lost and we gave detailed directions every time.

and we have no unique national patient identifier. Yet, somehow we are suppose to believe the US data will get us an answer in months?

Several countries have very comprehensive databases and they have been studies for years, but nobody has found a cause. US data is terrible to work with because it is basically impossible to trace a patient longitudinally when they have multiple insurances over their lives

Yes, possible. Possible even acutely though exceedingly uncomfortable when acute.
