Last night, President Trump deployed an additional 2,000 National Guard troops to quash protests in Los Angeles, over the objection of the governor. DHS also reportedly requested more military assistance and has asked the military to arrest people.

Military troops have no place on our streets.

Colorado law now explicitly protects transgender people from being “deadnamed” or misgendered in certain places under legislation signed into law Friday by Gov. Jared Polis.

The new law is named for Kelly Loving, a trans woman who died in the 2022 mass shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs.
